About
What is your name?
My Name is Leo!
What is your quest?
I have been a technology enthusiast for as long as I can remember, having been introduced to computers while in diapers by my programmer father in the early 90s. My childhood was spent debugging & modding Dreamcast games, building online communities, starting little businesses, designing graphics, disssembling & reassembling stuff, etc. Normal computer kid stuff, I am told.
These days, I haven’t been as excited by technology for its own sake, but rather by its power to engender real-world impact - whether that’s in helping flip a congressional seat, accelerating client growth, or catalyzing other forms of meaningful change.
I am the co-founder & serve as CTO of Reach, a grassroots organizing platform born during the groundbreaking Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Congress campaign in 2018. During that groundbreaking race, I served as Technology Director, helping to architect the digital infrastructure and media production / distribution systems that helped secure our unprecedented victory.
Since spinning off as an independent company, Reach has evolved into a powerful platform empowering thousands of Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations to transform how they engage supporters and mobilize volunteers. This mission continues to be my primary focus, as we constantly innovate and expand our platform’s capabilities to meet the evolving needs of modern political organizing, and to further amplify its’ impact.
My expertise spans both political technology and private sector innovation. Before entering the campaign space, I spearheaded digital strategy for a venture-backed startup and led major initiatives at a premier agency, partnering with brands like American Express, GoPro, and Reckitt-Benckiser. I also maintain my connection to AOC’s campaign, advising on technology, digital media, infosec and special projects.
What is your favorite color?
